Roderick Buchanan: LEGACY - Artist's Talk

Artist Roderick Buchanan gives a talk on his film and photographic work, LEGACY which follows two Scottish flute bands - The Parkhead Republican Flute Band and the Black Skull Corps of Fife and Drum - and their participation in the 2009/10 marching season in Northern Ireland. Roderick Buchanan was commissioned in 2008 by the Imperial War Museum's Art Commissions Committee to create a personal response to the legacy of the Troubles.

 

The exhibition opens at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery on 4 July and will be on show until 16 September 2012.
