David Sherry: Best Sense Ever

David Sherry is travelling the world with works produced at Deveron Arts during his residency project Health and Safety Effects

His new work directly responds to Health + Safety compliance and legislation. Last year, a BBC Panorama investigation revealed, that while H+S has been responsible for a range of distinctly bizarre decisions over the years, a good deal of urban myth has also sprung up in the backlash against its perceived encroachment into every part of our lives. This then raises the question, where should common sense end and legislation start? David directly responded to this dichotomy of myth and reality as part of his residency at Deveron Arts.
