Camilla Wegner - The Graffiti Project
MSc Contemporary Art and Art Theory student Camilla Wegner's final research project has been featured on BBC's The Culture Show and caused a splash in most UK newspapers. Curated by Wegner, The Graffiti Project brings together four of the world’s leading graffiti superstars from Brazil – Os Gemeos, Nina Pandolfo and Nunca - to create a unique burst of colour, embracing the walls and turrets of the south side of the 11th century Kelburn Castle, Ayrshire and the castle grounds. The project has involved the artists and curators living together in the Castle for approximately one month, documented by various forms of media. The project has resulted in a one-off, giant collaborative mural which will remain on display for three years.
