Edinburgh College of Art seek ten Graduate Studio Assistants to assist academic and technical staff in the smooth delivery of programmes of study, typically involving supporting staff in the preparation of studios and materials, project work, tutorials and assisting students in studio practice. You will work in a supportive capacity in the presence or vicinity of a lecturer or technician whilst line managed by the Head of Technical Services.
You will have excellent communication skills including ability to concisely explain and impart knowledge to both individuals and groups. Recent knowledge of Edinburgh College of Art in one of the specific areas listed or a closely related area is desirable.
The posts are full time and fixed term and are available from September 2012. It is anticipated that posts will be for a duration of 37 weeks with exact start and end date confirmed at interview. Salary Scale: £17,827 – £19,972
